The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), the U.S. Air Force’s only organization dedicated to the discovery and development of warfighting technologies for air, space, and cyberspace. AFRL New Mexico (AFRL-NM), located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque is the proud home of two of the U.S. Air Force’s nine research directorates: Directed Energy and Space Vehicles.
On this tour, learn more about AFRL’s statewide and national impact. Gain an understanding of the cutting-edge research and development that occurs here in New Mexico. Hear more about the lab’s innovative efforts in commercial technology transfer and STEM youth outreach, witness live technology demonstrations, and tour their world-class facilities.
This tour will begin at InnovateABQ/Lobo Rainforest Building where parking is available. Lunch is provided. Group transportation is provided to Kirtland Air Force Base and back. No personal vehicles are permitted on base.

4:00 p.m. Return to InnovateABQ/Lobo Rainforest Building
This is a FREE tour for dues-paying Alumni Members, Lifetime Members, and guests of Lifetime Members. Lifetime Members have registration priority until February 1. Deadline to register is Friday, February 15. Tour capacity is limited to 30 individuals. Registration is first-come, first-served.
